To keep Fleet API fast and reliable for everyone, requests are rate-limited.   Two limits apply:
  • 3,000 requests per minute
  • 1,000,000 requests per day  
If you go over either limit, the API returns HTTP 429 Too Many Requests. Requests are accepted again when the limit resets. The per-minute limit resets at the start of the next minute, and the daily limit resets at 00:00 UTC.   Requests rejected because of the per-minute limit do not count toward the daily limit.  

Example

If you send 3,000 requests at 12:07 UTC, you have used your full budget for that minute. Any additional requests before 12:08 UTC will be rejected with HTTP 429. Your daily quota is reduced by 3,000, but rejected requests during that same minute do not reduce it any further.
