Fleet API enables businesses to bring EV charging capabilities directly into their own products and user experiences by building on Plugsurfing’s extensive and reliable charging network.
Access static and dynamic charging data
Through the EV endpoints, businesses can access both static and dynamic charging data. Static data includes location information such as charge point details and other reference data. Dynamic data provides real-time information, such as current availability, helping businesses deliver more relevant charging experiences to drivers.
Retrieve live charging session data
Fleet API also supports live data during an active charging session, making it possible to display up-to-date charging information directly in a driver app or other customer-facing interface.
Enable charging in your product
Beyond data access, Fleet API allows businesses to integrate key charging actions into their own workflows. A charging card can be lodged to a driver within an app, and charging sessions can be started and stopped through the API. This makes it possible to create seamless EV journeys.
Combine local data with real-time requests
To support different integration models, static charging data can also be downloaded regularly as a local copy by API users, while dynamic data is made available on request through Fleet API. This gives businesses the flexibility to combine stable local datasets with real-time platform data where it matters most.
